Happy birthday Cássia!

Today is Cássia's; you reader may not have had the opportunity to meet her, all I can say is that I'm sorry for you, she's worth meeting, definetly! This girl is a character, one of those people that is always happy and fills everybody up with joy. Another aspect of her personality that I find worth mentioning is the fact that she's naive, very naive. People tend to take advantage of her, but I think she's learning how to protect herself from people like that, the "smart" ones. Well, I'm proud of being her friend, a hard-working girl that inspires people and helps me everyday to be a better person. Thank you for being there for me and I hope you can always count on me when you need...! Happy birthday, I wish your dreams and hopes come true!

One of us - episode 16

Last weekend we continued our marathon watching Lost from the first season. We finished the second season and now we're on the third. Yesterday after the game Namoras and I rented Disc 4 season 3. It got late and Namoras couldn't finish episode 16 - One of us, so here it is a summary of what happened.

The episode was all about Juliet, the reproduction doctor, member of the others. It was explained that she went to the island in order to help the women have children because for some reason they couldn't, they all die when pregnant. Since they weren't getting any good results, she wanted to go home after some time to see her sister who was pregnant before she left to the island. Then Ben said her sister had again developed cancer and would die within weeks, but if she stayed on the island he would save her, and that was the deal. After 3 years Ben has cancer and now Juliet gets angry because he had said nobody on the island would ever get cancer, she accused him of not saving his sister, so they go to the communication station and she watches her sister and nephew, and that's how he convinced her to do everything he asks so she could leave the island and see her family. - Well, the others left headed somewhere unknown and Jack, Sayid, Kate and Juliet were left behind. When they arrive at the camp on the beach, nobody liked Juliet, but Claire gets sick and only Juliet knows how to help help her. Claire is saved and now Juliet becomes a member of the beach group. Oh, important to mention that Jack always defends her, it's quite annoying. - The last part is a conversation a day before between Ben and Juliet which they make all the arrangements for her acceptance in the group, every single detail. Conclusion, she's working for The Others, Jack doesn't know but is helping her to do her dirty work.

Lost

This weekend, Namoras and I went on a Lost marathon. We both had already seen these seasons, but we decided to watch everything all over again. It's been interesting, but now it's easier to spot some flaws. Pehaps not exactly flaws, but things that are, to say the least, annoying. The worst thing for me is the repetition, they constantly repeat scenes they consider important or whatever. It is really boring to watch the same thing 4 or 5 times along the episodes. Nevertheless, we'll continue our marathon anyway. Next weekend we'll go to Santa Tereza and we always watch dvds there, this time it's going to be season 3, I think.

***Neste fds, Namoras e eu embarcamos numa maratona Lost. Ambos já tínhamos visto essas temporadas, mas decidimos assistir tudo de novo. Está interessante, mas agora é mais fácil perceber as falhas. Talvez não exatamente falhas, mas coisas que para dizer o mínimo são irritantes. A pior de todas é a repetição, eles repetem constantemente as cenas que consideram importantes ou sei lá. É bem chato assistir a mesma coisa 4 ou 5 vezes durante os episódios. Mesmo assim continuaremos nossa maratona. Fds que vem vamos para Santa Tereza e sempre assistimos dvds lá, dessa vez acho que vai ser a terceira temporada.
